GB Facial & Body Design was born in 1990 at the onset of the PMU era in North America, specifically in Anaheim, California. During that time, the range of available colors was very limited, sparking the need to create a pigment line adaptable to all skin types.
Due to limited research in this rapidly growing field, early attempts using tattoo inks were fraught with challenges, as their liquid consistency often led to migration. Migration refers to pigment spreading under the skin, resulting in large, irreparable blotches.
To counter this, we transitioned to inorganic pigments whose heavier molecules prevent capillary penetration and subsequent migration. Although naturally occurring in only 4-5 colors, these pigments and their blends are adept at producing natural tones suitable for every skin type.
In 1999, INORGANIC PIGMENTS was established, offering a diverse palette by blending browns with whites, yellows, and reds. These pigments require no neutralization and retain their deposited color, ensuring fidelity for over 26 years without toxic agents, making them safe for human use.
